The Blood

𝓟𝓻𝓲𝔂𝓪'𝓼 𝓟𝓸𝓿:--

I looked at Sourav completely stunned. How dare he kissed on my cheek!!! I immediately pushed him away wiping my cheek furiously glaring at him but he was just laughing mischivously.

"𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗸??"

"𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗽." He said grinning widely.

"𝗕𝗲𝘄𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿!!!" I said glaring at him one last time and ran from there my heart racing so fast that it might explode. I touched my cheek but immediately shake my head.

𝓡𝓲𝓼𝓱𝓲'𝓼 𝓟𝓸𝓿:--

As per the tradition I carried Mandrita up the stairs and not gonna lie I'm feeling butterflies dancing in my stomach.... Wait I'm Rishi Birla the cold businessman I shouldn't behave like this but fuck my heartbeat became faster whenever she's near me.

As I finished the puja and turned around my eyes nearly popped out seeing Pilu in Sourav's arms and then.... the kiss!!!! I was about to marched there when someone hold my hand I looked back and Mandrita was looking at me.

"𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝗷𝗶?"

"𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝘂 𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝗯𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗜'𝗺 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲...."

"𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗵 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁?? 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴...."

"𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀...." My body froze as I feel a pair of soft lips on my cheeks. Mandrita kissed me. After she pulled back I slowly looked at her completely stunned she chuckled.

"𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹. 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗯 𝘀𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮." She again kissed on my other cheek before left. I touched my cheek my cheeks flushed from her actions.

𝓐𝓽 𝓡𝓪𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷🏢🏢

𝓟𝓻𝓲𝔂𝓪'𝓼 𝓟𝓸𝓿:--

I was walking in the mansion lost in thought about the earlier incident when I again heard that call....

"𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲 𝗜'𝗺 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂..." Despite myself I started to follow the voice like I don't have control in my own body. My mind is screaming to not go but my body move against my will.

Slowly I was walking to the source when suddenly I felt something warm and sticky under my feet I looked down and my heart stopped.... It's.... It's fresh blood. I started to follow the trail of blood. I came to that same place in front of that mysterious closed room but my blood run cold. I freeze in my spot I can't believe my eyes what I'm seeing in front of me.

A dead body  skin torn like someone skin the dead body alive the blood is coming from the place. I slowly walked a bit closer but I feel like someone snatched my ability to breathe after what I saw....

So-Sourav.... he's eating the dead body when he turned towards me my heart stopped his eyes are totally black, nails big like sharp knives and those sharp big teeth. He's chewing one eyeball while holding the other eyeball in his hand. I was freeze in my spot unable to move or speak as if something hold me there. I'm totally paralyzed.

But the he started to came crawling towards me. His body bent in an unnatural angle his eyes hungry blood dripping from his chin. I was standing silently completely paralyzed unable to do anything.

As he's about to reach out his hand towards me I came out of my haze and with a blood-cuddling scream I ran from there. I hear his steps behind me means he's came crawling after me but I didn't looked back I came to a room and locked the door but then the knocks. I gulped not knowing what to do. The knocks turned into loud banging and for a moment I thought that he might break the door.

I closed my ears tightly nd slide on the ground closing my eyes tightly. I didn't realized when the banging stopped until a shadow fell on me.

"𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮.... 𝗪𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱?? 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆??"

I slowly looked up breathing heavily and sweating. My breath hitched there he stands bu-but he's looking normal no blood nothing he's naked a towel wrapped around his waist and hair damp like he just came out of shower. He slowly tried to touch my hand but I moved away violently.

"𝗗𝗼-𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲!! 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿!!! 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁!!"

"𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿?? 𝗘𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲?? 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮?? 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺"

"𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲... 𝗨-𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻-𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀...."

"𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘆??"

"𝗡𝗼 𝗜'𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘆!!! 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲" I hold Sourav's hand and dragged him outside the room and to the place in front of the closed door but my words stuck in my throat when I saw there's no blood no dead body the place is clean completely.

"𝗦𝗲𝗲!! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮...."

"𝗕-𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲...." My voice trembled

"𝗘𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲... 𝗺𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘄" He smirked coming closer to me.

That's when I saw a strange locket around his neck a simple chain but the pendant contains two pearls one black and one white. I tried to touched that but he immediately pulled back.

"𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗗𝗶 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀...." With that he left from there.

I looked at the closed door one last time an unsettling feeling rush through my spine I quickly turned and walked away from there.

I came to the main living room where everyone is sitting I sat beside my Dau my heart still racing so fast from that earlier incident.

Was that really my hallucination or the beginning of a truth???
