Priya slowly stood up still feeling slightly dizzy from the earlier incident she looked at the pond her heart racing faster as if half expecting something came out of the water. She shook her head and walked away. Everyone looked up as she came all drenched looking confused but she kept silent. She looked at her father who also kept silent not wanting to discuss anything about earlier.

I walked towards them shivering slightly from the cold.
"𝗣𝗶𝗹𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗸 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗮?" Dau asked me all concerned but I gave him a reassuring smile.
They all walked inside mandir I was about to go when I felt a hand gripped my wrist firmly nd I know it's none other than Sourav. I tried to jerked off his hand but he pulled me closer wrapping his arms around my waist. I looked up our lips are almost touching.
"𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆." He whispered against my lips his voice feels somehow desperate but I ignored that.
"𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗴𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘃."
"𝗡𝗼 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮. 𝗙𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲." His grip tightened on my waist in a desperate way I want to pushed him away but my body pulled him closer. He rests his forehead against me.
I heard footsteps approaching nd pushed him away composing myself. I saw Dau came to call us nd I went with him.
The puja started and I felt his presence behind me.
"𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘃 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶." The pandit said with a gentle smile.
Dau picked up Mandrita without hesitation and started to climb the stairs. I whistled behind them watching there loveable bond but I yelp when I felt arms wrapped around me. I looked up and saw Sourav also picked me up and started to climb the stairs.
"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴??"
"𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱? 𝗖𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗜'𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂."
"𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝘀!!"
"𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗽." He said with a wink.
My cheeks started to flushed hearing the nickname but I'm too stubborn to show it. I started to struggle in his grip but his grip only tightened.
"𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗽. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴." He whispered into my ear making a shiver ran down my spine I stop struggling. He smirked and continue to climb the stairs not taking break once.
After climbing the stairs he put me down in front of the statue of Mahadev and Mata Parvati keeping a hand wrapped around my waist. Dau and Mandrita are already there taking blessings from the pandit. After them the pandit came to us.
"𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘃 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀."
I was about to deny but Sourav cut me off....
"𝗬𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗷𝗶 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘃 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶." I glared at him but he just winked at me. The pandit laughed heartily and left.
"𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗯 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗶 𝗸𝗶𝘀𝗶 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶 𝘀𝗲 𝗸𝗮𝗺 𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗶 𝗵𝗮𝗶." Dau said teasingly and I glared at him. Sourav chuckled tightened his grip on my waist.
I tried to go but Sourav hold my wrist and pulled me back to his chest.
"𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗽?? 𝗜'𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘆𝗲𝘁." He whispered in my ear huskily my cheeks turned red.
But my heart stopped for a moment when he pressed his lips on my cheeks. Wait.... DID HE JUST KISSED ME ON MY CHEEKS???? My mind went blank my heart started to beat faster I clutched his shirt and he pulled me more closer....
